VizonShow 20th Anniversary celebrations also hosted Istanbul Fashion Awards on 17th of June 1999 at Istanbul Hilton Exhibition and Convention Center. The pioneers of fashion world of Istanbul are awarded by the votes of a nationwide jury formed of hundred experts.

is remembered by the Two months prior to it's twentieth anniversary celebrations VizonShow sent out an invitation to participating designers to prepare collection for the late Demir Ural's (the famous shirt maker industrialist and representative of Sebago Shoes USA) memory. Cemil Ipekçi was the first to accept the proposal. He prepared a beautiful collection which refreshed the memories to remember Demir's first participation in the first VizonShow held in 1979.
